ALL STUDENTS: Confirmation letters for the Mother-Son Dinner Dance are in the homeroom folders this morning. Please make sure you take this home. Also, last call for the Mother-Son Dinner Dance. All returns must be in by Wednesday, March 19th. Please see Mrs. Gualario in the main office. Thank you.
FINANCIAL AID: Financial Aid applications for the 2008-2009 school year are currently available in the Financial Aid Office and the Finance Office. The deadline is today. Anyone interested in applying along with all work study students must pick up an application as soon as possible.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR INNER-CITY CHILDREN: The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children (SFIC) applications for the 2008–2009 are currently available in the Financial Aid Office and the Finance Office. The deadline is April 22, 2008. Anyone interested in applying along with all work study students must pick up an application as soon as possible.
SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL: Come play Super Smash Brothers Brawl! A tournament will be held on Tuesday in H-303 at 3:00 p.m. Tournament fee is $3 and 30% of proceeds will go to the winner’s homeroom. Sign up with Ms. Annetta or junior, John Paul Montemayor. There are only 32 spots available.
Academic Bowl: Practices resume today in B-313. Upcoming contests: April 12th in Colonia; April 23rd computer-based event here at Prep; May 17th at Chatham. Practices will be today and tomorrow.
JUNIOR RINGS: The manufacturer of our rings, John Zolnier, will be here at lunch on Wednesday, March 19, to accept any rings that need any adjustments at all. This will be his only visit so please bring in your rings that day. He will be set up in the cafeteria.
SOPHOMORE GROUP: Sophomore group meets on Tuesday in Fr. Mullin’s office.
OPERA TRIP: Saturday, April 5 – afternoon performance of Tosca. Price is $25 plus PATH train. See Mr. Dwyer in E-201 if interested by Tuesday, March 18.
HISTORY CLUB: Meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in H-301.
ALL: Please remember the grandmother of sophomore, Matt Feeney. She died on Thursday. Funeral mass is today at 9:30 in the church.
All: GOOD FRIDAY WALK - Continue the tradition to walk the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday. The stations begin at the UN in NYC. Meet at Prep at 7:30 a.m. on FRIDAY. All welcome. Consult the fliers around school.

Jug for missing course selections: Jug continues for students who have not submitted their course selection forms for next year. The student list is posted on the main bulletin board. See Mr. Reidy if you have any questions.
Studio Art: Painting: This course was left off the course selection forms by mistake. Current juniors and sophomores who are interested in this course should see Mr. Reidy to sign up for it.
Italian 1 and 2: Please be sure to have your textbook for class today.
MR. LOCRICCHIO’S PER 2 AND PER 7 CLASSES: Will not meet. All other sections will meet as usual!
MS. ROMANO’S PER 7 - Italian 1: Class will not meet. Assignment: In the text page 108 Exercise A (write out sentences) and page 110 Exercises B (write out sentences) and D (you can work in pairs for exercise D only). This should all be written in the homework section of the binder.
MS. ANNETTA’S PER 4 AND 7: Will not meet. Assignment is posted in Mulry Lobby. It will be collected and graded next class.
MR. GIORDANO’S CLASSES: Will not meet. Assignments: French I - 20 sentences using the verb faire; French II - Finish reading Chapter 3 handout and write a one paragraph summary (in French 7-10 sentence); French III - read Chapters 24 and 25 in "Le Petit Prince" and write a 5-7 sentence summary for each chapter; Spanish I - 20 sentences describing the location of buildings and places around a city. Assignments will be collected next class.
