ANNOUNCEMENTS – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2, 2008 – “B” DAY
All: You’re all invited and welcome to attend the annual Spring Concert this Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. It will be held at St. Patrick’s School Auditorium here in Jersey City and will feature music by the Prep Concert Band, Jazz Band and Chorus. Also several students will be performing solos that you don’t want to miss. A free round trip shuttle bus from Prep will be available at 7:00 p.m. on Warren Street.
Percussion Students: Lessons this week with Mr. Gleich will be held on Thursday.
WRESTLING: Team meeting on Thursday, April 3 at 3:00 p.m. in the wrestling room.
ALL: Thanks to everyone who helped prepare and celebrate our Holy Week liturgy!
ALL: Emmaus 238 will depart on Saturday morning. Materials may be dropped-off at the switchboard.
EMMAUS 238 JUNIORS: Will meet on Thursday for a brief, but important, meeting during 5B in the chapel. Please see Mr. Heffernan with questions.
ALL: Don’t forget that Mass is offered every Friday during periods 5A and 5B. Come spend some time with the Lord before lunch! Mass is in the Chapel.
ENGINEERING CLUB MEETING: We will meet on Wednesday at 3:05 p.m. in H-302.
Freshmen: There will be a Christian Service Reflection Class today at 3:00 in the chapel.
Sophomores and Juniors: All service forms must be completed and returned to Mr. Sekel by Friday, April 4.
ICE HOCKEY: JV & Varsity Uniforms will be collected in the gym on Thursday, April 3 between 2:00-3:00 p.m. EVERYTHING must be returned. Home & Away game jerseys, practice jerseys, shells, white, maroon and black socks. Also, if you have any jerseys from camp you may return them as well.
BLOOD DRIVE: The Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the library. You must be 17 years old. Prep policy requires a parental consent form in order for student to donate. Please see Mrs. Schneider. Thank you.
All: Anyone interested in participating in the 30 Hour Famine for Peace from Thursday to Friday, see Mr. Sekel in the chapel after school today.
ALL: Last call for Wiffle Ball Rosters! Friday is the deadline!

All: Please remember in your prayers the following: Grandfather of senior, Sam Dokus, grandmother of freshman, George Aquila and grandmother of sophomore, Dale Balderacchi. Grandparents recently died. Also remember John Gray, class of 72 who was killed in a boating accident in the state of Washington.
MR. HURD’S 7TH PER 7 LATIN 2 HNRS: Will not meet. Assignment previously given.
MS. ROMANO’S 7TH PER ITALIAN 3 HNRS/AP: Will not meet. Continue working on your Geography Project.
MR. GIORDANO’S FRENCH 3 HNRS: Will not meet. Assignment: Write one page (3-5 well-constructed paragraphs in French, of course) about the general theme of Le Petite Prince. Focus on your personal thoughts about the book and its importance to you. Turn in by 3:00 PM today to Main Office.
MR. LYONS’ CLASSES: Will not meet. Chemistry Assignment: Finish reading the section begun yesterday and answer questions 1-10, to be collected tomorrow. Biology: No assignment.
Study Halls: There will be no study halls for the first cycle for freshmen and sophomores.
After-Prep Program: This program will resume on Wednesday, April 9 for those underclassmen who performed poorly for MP 3.
