ANNOUNCEMENTS – THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 2008 – “C” DAY
MOTHER-SON DINNER DANCE: Gentlemen: The dinner dance is next Friday, April 11. All students attending should pickup paper and envelope on the counter in the main office and write your letter to your mom. Put your mom’s name on the envelope and your name in the upper left corner along with your homeroom. Please deposit your written letters in the box in the main office. Please do not forget – the moms love this little gesture. Thank you.

All: You’re all invited and welcome to attend the annual Spring Concert this Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. It will be held at St. Patrick’s School Auditorium here in Jersey City and will feature music by the Prep Concert Band, Jazz Band and Chorus. Also several students will be performing solos that you don’t want to miss. A free round trip shuttle bus from Prep will be available at 7:00 p.m. on Warren Street.
Percussion Students: Remember lessons today with Mr. Gleich.
Guitar Students: Remember lessons today with Mr. Kapsalis.
Jazz Band Members: Remember mandatory rehearsal after school today.
WRESTLING: Team meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in the wrestling room.
ALL: Emmaus 238 will depart on Saturday morning. Materials may be dropped-off at the switchboard.
EMMAUS 238 JUNIORS: Will meet today for a brief, but important, meeting during 5B in the chapel. Please see Mr. Heffernan with questions.
ALL: Don’t forget that Mass is offered every Friday during periods 5A and 5B. Come spend some time with the Lord before lunch! Mass is in the Chapel.
Sophomores and Juniors: All service forms must be completed and returned to Mr. Sekel by Friday.
ICE HOCKEY: JV & Varsity Uniforms will be collected in the gym today between 2:00-3:00 p.m. EVERYTHING must be returned. Home & Away game jerseys, practice jerseys, shells, white, maroon and black socks. Also, if you have any jerseys from camp you may return them as well.
BLOOD DRIVE: The Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the library. You must be 17 years old. Prep policy requires a parental consent form in order for student to donate. Please see Mrs. Schneider. Thank you.
ALL: Last call for Wiffle Ball Rosters! Friday is the deadline!
MARAUDER NATION: Juniors will meet on Monday during 5B with Fr. Hoag, S.J. in E-402.
All: Please remember in your prayers the following: Grandfather of senior, Sam Dokus, grandmother of freshman, George Aquila and grandmother of sophomore, Dale Balderacchi. Grandparents recently died. Also remember John Gray, class of 72 who was killed in a boating accident in the state of Washington.
NATIONAL SPANISH EXAM: Students taking the National Spanish exam should report to the library immediately after homeroom today.
LITERAMA: The deadline has been extended to Friday, April 11. Submit to Mr. Muir in H-202 or to junior, David Sambade.
ALL: Students and teachers participating in the 30-Hour Famine should come to Shalloe Parlor today at the beginning of 5A or 5B for a final meal.
VIDEO GAME CLUB: There will be a meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in E-302.
CLC: Meets on Friday at 7:30 a.m. in the chapel.
