ANNOUNCEMENTS – THURSDAY, MAY 22, 2008 – “f” DAY
LITURGICAL CHOIR: Will meet today after-school with Mr. Harrold. Preparations are underway for the Baccalaureate Mass on Saturday, May 31.
GRADUATION TICKETS: Seniors - you need to pick up your graduation tickets! Requests for the extra tickets are now available in the main office. Thank you.
JUG -- No senior can participate in the graduation ceremony if any JUGs are outstanding on May 30, 2008. No underclassman can return to Prep next year if JUG is owed on June 3, 2008. Gentlemen, please take care of your responsibilities.

ALL: If any guitarist, bassist, drummer or brass & woodwind player is interested in this summer's 8th Annual Jazz Workshop, See Mr. Caslowitz for a brochure. In addition to plenty of playing time, the workshop has guest artists visit for master classes and the group will be attending at least one live performance during the two week session.
Sophomores: Students must attend the Junior Service Site Orientation today at 3:00 in Saint Peter’s Church. Any hours done without attending the orientation will not count towards their 60 hour requirement.
PICTURES: Freshmen and sophomores who ordered pictures from Davis Studio may pick them up in the principal’s office.
SENIOR LOCKS: Senior locks should be returned to Mrs. Finn in the attendance office or to Mr. Collins. A $5 fee is charged for lost locks. Locks must be returned before graduation rehearsal.
FRESHMAN: We are having a picnic for the freshman class on Tuesday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. immediately following the last exam at JFK field. Hotdogs, hamburgers and soda will be provided. Bring your yearbook to be signed by fellow classmates and teachers. Bring a football, Frisbee, soccer ball, etc. to play with on the field. A great way to wrap up your first year of high school.
Freshmen: Final Christian Service reflection will be held today at 3:40 in the chapel.
SENIORS: Graduating seniors whose father and/or grandfather also graduated from Prep should see Mr. Jiran in S-309 this week.
LOCKERS – UNDERCLASSMEN: All lockers are to be emptied by the last day of exams. Locks are to be taken home and used again in September.
Academic Bowl: Final meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in B-313. Seniors who competed in one or meets this year are invited to join us. Plans for summer assignments, academic bowl camp, etc. and pizza party. Please send Ms. P an email at SPP to say that you plan to attend so that we have the proper count for refreshments.
ALL: If you wear size 13 ½ sneakers, see Mr. Irvine; he has two new pairs he is looking to give away.
HAP TUTORS: All HAP tutors are reminded that the HAP exam is this Saturday at 9:30. Tutors should arrive (dressed neatly) by 8:30.
WILLIAM PATERSON POETRY COMPETITION: All those competing in today’s contest are to meet in Mr. G’s room (library) after 8th period today.
MARAUDER NATION: We will meet after school today in E-402.
New Day Weekend Trip: Please return the permission slips to Mr. Sekel by May 29, 2008.
Sophomores: Any student who has not picked up a Christian Service Reflection Journal must see Mr. Sekel during exam week.
MS. KNITTEL’S LATIN 3 AND LATIN 3 HNRS: Classes will not meet. Continue working on your assignments.
All: The Continued Dynasty took Game 1 of the Wiffle Ball World Series 12-10. Game 2 will be played during 5B lunch and Game 3 (if necessary) will be played after school.
JUNIORS: Anyone who would like an extra prom favor see Mrs. Martineau.
Band Members: If you missed this morning's elections for next year's band officers, pick-up a ballot from Mr. Caslowitz by the end of the day in order to participate in the voting.
UKRAINIAN CLUB: The Ukrainian Club will meet today at 3:00 p.m. in E-304. It’s the last meeting of the year.
SUMMER READING BOOKS: Summer reading books (a limited supply) are available in the campus shop. This applies to all English 1, 2, 3, and English 3 Honors.
ALL: Joy Food will meet today during 5B in the Shalloe Parlor. All are welcome.
ALL: Communist Experiment class for next year – please stop by Mr. Oryshkevych’s classroom E-304 today after school for a brief meeting.
