ANNOUNCEMENTS – FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2008 – DAY 4 OF EXAMS
JUG: No underclassman can return to Prep next year if JUG is owed on June 3, 2008. Gentlemen, please take care of your responsibilities.

ALL: If any guitarist, bassist, drummer or brass & woodwind player is interested in this summer's 8th Annual Jazz Workshop, See Mr. Caslowitz for a brochure. In addition to plenty of playing time, the workshop has guest artists visit for master classes and the group will be attending at least one live performance during the two week session.
FRESHMAN: We are having a picnic for the freshman class on Tuesday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. immediately following the last exam at JFK field. Hotdogs, hamburgers and soda will be provided. Bring your yearbook to be signed by fellow classmates and teachers. Bring a football, Frisbee, soccer ball, etc. to play with on the field. A great way to wrap up your first year of high school.
LOCKERS – UNDERCLASSMEN: All lockers are to be emptied by the last day of exams. Locks are to be taken home and used again in September.
Sophomores: Any student who has not picked up a Christian Service Reflection Journal must see Mr. Sekel during exam week.
SUMMER READING BOOKS: Summer reading books (a limited supply) are available in the campus shop. This applies to all English 1, 2, 3, and English 3 Honors.
ACADEMIC BOWL CAMP: Interested students see Ms. Panzera for registration and health forms, list of courses, list of things to bring, etc. Registration due by today in B-313.
Wii WRAFFLE: Last call for chances! See Ms. Panzera in B-313 before 8:10 a.m. and/or after 11:15 a.m. today. Drawing will take placement today and winner will be listed on main bulletin board in Mulry and message sent to Prep e-mail address of the winner and also published in Monday 6/2 announcements.
SOPHOMORES: You will be buying your summer reading book for Religion next Monday in your Religion exam room. Bring $15 cash or check.
ALL: Students of AP Chemistry next year meet with Mr. Lagerstrom today at 12:00 p.m. in B-316 for summer assignment.
All Band Members - Remember the required full rehearsal today at 12:00 p.m. There will be pizza prior to the rehearsal.
HAP Tutors: The updated list of HAP tutors is on the bulletin board outside Mr. Irvine’s office and on the door to the Freshman for a Day room. If you did not come to the exam and did not see Mr. Irvine ahead of time, you are no longer on the list.
All: Congratulations to The Continued Dynasty, winners of the 2008 Wiffle Ball World Series.
Soccer Players: There will be a brief meeting with Coach Jantas on Monday at 11:15 in H-201. Anyone who did not play this year, but would like to try out in August should attend as well.
JUG WORK: Today after the morning exam. This will satisfy up to three (3) JUGs.
JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES: Planning on taking the SAT in the fall? Students interested in a preparation course that will begin in August should contact Mr. Morris ASAP.

NEXT YEAR AP BIOLOGY STUDENTS: Next year AP biology students with Ms. Hwang please come to B-316 AP room for summer assignments and textbooks.
MR. DISTINTI: Mr. Distinti will offer a review session tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. in his classroom. Bring your review packets.
FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS: RE: Library Books – Overdue books will b e posted on the bulletin board. Report cards will not be mailed until all books are return to the library.
FOOTBALL CANDIDATES: All those wishing to play football this year will meet for a brief meeting today at 11:30 a.m. in the gym.
ALL: Any student participating in a summer Immersion trip must see Mr. Sekel in H-302A after exams on Monday.
MARAUDER NATION: Plan on being at Volleyball semi-final game, Prep vs. Bosco, at 4:00 p.m. in the gym. We will have pizza in the courtyard at 12:30 p.m.
