ANNOUNCEMENTS – MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2008 DAY 5 OF EXAMS  

 

JUG:  No underclassman can return to Prep next year if JUG is owed on Tuesday, June 3.  Gentlemen, please take care of your responsibilities. 

FRESHMAN:  We are having a picnic for the freshman class on Tuesday, June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. immediately following the last exam at JFK field.  Hotdogs, hamburgers and soda will be provided.  Bring your yearbook to be signed by fellow classmates and teachers.  Bring a football, Frisbee, soccer ball, etc. to play with on the field.  A great way to wrap up your first year of high school.

 

LOCKERS – UNDERCLASSMEN:  All lockers are to be emptied by the last day of exams.  Locks are to be taken home and used again in September.

 

Soccer Players:  There will be a brief meeting with Coach Jantas today at 11:15 in H-201.  Anyone who did not play this year, but would like to try out in August should attend as well.

 

JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES: Planning on taking the SAT in the fall?  Students interested in a preparation course that will begin in August should contact Mr. Morris ASAP.

 

FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS:  RE:  Library Books – Overdue books will b e posted on the bulletin board.  Report cards will not be mailed until all books are return to the library.

 

LITERAMA:  If you are interested in receiving a copy of the Summer 2008 edition of Literama, please stop by Mr. Muir’s room, H-202, or the Publications office today or Tuesday.

 

FOOTBALL CANDIDATES:  All those wishing to play football this year will meet for a brief meeting Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the gym.

 

ALL:  Any student participating in a summer Immersion trip must see Mr. Sekel in H-302A after exams today. 

 

STUDENT COUNCIL:  Today there will be a brief meeting of next year’s student council members at 11:30 a.m. in H-201.

 

JV BASEBALL:  Players must return uniforms to Coach Urbanovich in B-218 before/after the exam tomorrow.

 

OUTDOOR TRACK:  All players must return their uniforms in the cafeteria between 11:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to Mr. Burgess.  Anyone interested in Cross Country report to the cafeteria as well to see Mr. Burgess about the upcoming season.

 

MR. CUNNEEN’S US HISTORY 1 EXAM REVIEW:  Review for Mr. Cunneen’s U.S. History 1 exam today at 11:30 a.m. in H-301.

 

MS. KNITTEL’S LATIN 2:  There will be a review session after today’s exam in E-303.

 

WINNER OF Wii:  The winner of the Wii is junior, Sushanta Mozumder.  Congratulations!

 

All: Summer reading has been assigned for all levels of English.  The books are available in the bookstore.  The list will also be posted on the Prep website.  No excuses will be accepted in September.

 

Mr. Koszyk’s English 2:  Several students saw Mr. Reidy last week about their grades for MP 4.  If you still have questions, please see Mr. Reidy after your exam this morning.

 

Honors Biology Summer Assignment:  Students enrolled in next years Honors Biology class should begin looking at Ms. Annetta's  website by next Monday.  The summer assignment will be posted.  Email Ms. Annetta if you have any questions.

 

FRESHMAN BASEBALL PLAYERS:  Freshman baseball players are reminded to hand in jerseys and pants (washed and folded) to Coach Arteaga by Tuesday, June. 3.

 

STUDENTS OWING MR. KEATING VERSES:  Students owing Mr. Keating verses should hand them in today in order to avoid JUG on the final day of school.  Copies may be dropped off in the main office with Mrs. Gualario.

 

MARAUDER NATION:  Bus to the volleyball game on Tuesday.  Please sign up in the main office.
