ANNOUNCEMENTS – MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2008 – “E” DAY

ALL: Environment Club will be having its first meeting today at 3 pm in H-312. Amazing experiences will be happening thru the school year in the Environmental Club culminating with a big bang next summer! Please come and find out for yourself and join us. See You Monday

ALL: Medical Club will be having its first meting of the year on Thursday at 3 pm in H-312. Let’s get all the planning started early guys, for all members and new members, come and check out what’s in store for this year’s Medical Club. See You Thursday.

TV STUDIO:  We will meet today at 3 pm in H-205.

SOPH, JR’S & SR’S who did not receive books at the book sale should come to the book store to pick them up.

ALL STUDENTS:  LOST AND FOUND will now be located in the “Receptionist” area of the school.  It will no longer be in the “Attendance Office”.  Thank you.

ALL STUDENTS—JUG begins on Tuesday, September 16.  Any student who receives JUG up to and including Wednesday must serve on Tuesday, Sept. 16.  Students MUST bring handbooks.

BASEBALL:  Today’s conditioning session ill be held at the field at 3:05 pm.  You can change in the Crackhouse.

September is Leukemia and Lymphoma awareness month.  To help raise awareness, the culinary club will be sponsoring a fundraiser.  On Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18, donations will be collected in homeroom.  The homeroom with the highest amount collected will be treated to brownies, baked by the culinary club. Several Prep students have been overheard saying that these particular brownies are on par with Mr. Williams infamous mission drive brownies.   

Academic Bowl Team:  Enjoy Jeopardy, Trivial Pursuits, etc?  Why not check out the Academic Bowl Team.  Team meets for practice every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 3:05 pm in B313.  See Louis Sullivan or Ms. Panzera for more information. The first competition is Saturday, October 18^th at Princeton. Old and new members welcomed!

All: Mass will be celebrated each day at 7:30 in the Prep chapel. Mass will be suited to our time schedule—about 20 minutes.

All: Thanks to all who helped at the alumni family cookout. Special thanks to sophs Ian Gardner, George Aquila, Luca Taite, Junior Bobby Liccardo and freshman Dermott Sullivan for their help.

Freshman: Freshman football team beat St. Joe’s 28 to 12, Cross country team finished 2^nd to CBA. Congratulations.

All: Soccer team plays last year’s Champions on Tuesday at 4:30 at LK. Pk. West.

All Jazz Band Members:  If you have not done so already, see Mr. Caslowitz sometime today to pick up copies of the 3 pieces of music for the rehearsals & auditions this Thursday.

All Band Members both "A" & "D" days and 8th Period:  Remember there is a full rehearsal after school tomorrow. Bring your instruments to school.

Stock Market Club:  There will be an organizational meeting on Tuesday 9/16 in the Link Lab after school.

Computer Club:  There will be an organizational meeting on Thursday 9/18 after school in the Link Lab.
