ANNOUNCEMENTS – FFRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2008 – “B” DAY

All Freshmen:  If you would like to be a Freshman Ambassador this year, you must attend one of the following meetings – today during lunch in the gym or at 3:00 in the cafeteria.

SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS & SENIORS:  If you did not receive books at the book sale, please come to the book store to pick them up.

CAMPUS SHOP:  “GOT JUG?” t-shirts are $15.

Sophomores:  Anyone interested in applying for the weekend service immersion trips should check their Prep email for the link to the online application.  Applications must be submitted by September 24, 2008.

YEARBOOK:  If anyone is interested in becoming a staff writer or photographer for the 2009 Petrean, please come to a meeting on Tuesday, 9/23, in E-402 at 3:05 pm.

FORENSICS:  Our Forensics (Speech & Debate) team will meet today at 3:00 pm in M-207 (Mr. Grusenski’s room).  New members welcome.  Returning members, bring a friend.

Stock Market Club for freshmen and sophomores:  Organizational meeting next Wednesday, 9/24 at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab.

ANDRO BALL:  There will be an andro ball meeting for all those interested in Mr. Lyons’ room in B-317 on Tuesday, 9/23.

ALL:  Student volunteers are needed for the Open House on Sunday, September 28.  Please sign up in the principal’s office or see Mr. Irvine for details.

ALL:  Chess pieces for the outdoor chess tables are available in Mr. Morris’ office.

SENIOR HOMEROOMS:  On Monday, 9/22, the Petrean 2009 dedication form will be distributed to all senior homerooms.  Homeroom teachers should advise their students to arrive on time as to allow for thoughtful selection.

ALL:  Anyone who has not paid for the bus to Maryland on Saturday, please see Senior, Matt Bender or Mr. Healy today.

MODEL UN MEETING:  We will meet on Tuesday, 9/23 at 3:00 pm in B-216.  We will be electing new officers.  New members welcome.

HISTORY CLUB:  There will be a History Club meeting on Monday, 9/22 at 3:00 pm in b-216.  We will be electing new officers.  New members are welcome.
