Beginning Instrumental Lessons: Guitar and brass students please remember that lessons will begin tomorrow at lunch with Mr. Kapsalis and Mr. Ferrone. See Mr. Caslowitz if you have any questions.
Sophomores: Anyone interested in applying for the weekend service immersion trips should check their Prep email for the link to the online application. Applications must be submitted by September 24.
YEARBOOK: If anyone is interested in becoming a staff writer or photographer for the 2009 Petrean, please come to a meeting on Tuesday in E-402 at 3:05 pm.
Stock Market Club for freshmen and sophomores: Organizational meeting Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab.
ALL: Student volunteers are needed for the Open House this Sunday. Please sign up in the principal’s office or see Mr. Irvine for details.
SENIOR HOMEROOMS: Today, the Petrean 2009 dedication form will be distributed to all senior homerooms. Homeroom teachers should advise their students to arrive on time as to allow for thoughtful selection.
MODEL UN MEETING: We will meet on Tuesday at 3:00 pm in B-216. We will be electing new officers. New members welcome.
HISTORY CLUB: There will be a History Club meeting today at 3:00 pm in b-216. We will be electing new officers. New members are welcome.
STUDENT COUNCIL: There will be a regular student council meeting every Tuesday morning at 7:45 am in H-201. All members are required to attend.
PREP UNPLUGGED: Do you play an instrument? On Friday, October 3, from 6:30-9:00 pm, this year’s first “unplugged” event. Come out and hear your friends sing and play and enjoy some treats while relaxing with friends. This event is being sponsored by the Student Council.
MARAUDER NATION: We will meet today in E-303 at 3:00 pm.
ALL: Those interested in founding an Intramural Committee (which includes Ando Ball) meet on Tuesday in Mr. Lyons’ at 3:00 pm.
ANDRO BALL: Those interested in playing Andro Ball meet in Mr. Lyons’ room, B-317, at 3:00 pm on Tuesday.
FRESHMEN: If you ordered pictures from Davis Studio, please pick them up from Ms. Finn in the Attendance Office at 8th period this week.
FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES: If you have fully paid for your paperback books, you may pick them up at the campus shop.
FRENCH CLUB: Come to our first meeting today in e-301 for a viewing of our first film, Amelie, at 3:00 pm. See Mr. Giordano or Bill Foley for details.
FRESHMAN ACTIVITIES FAIR: All clubs participating in Wednesday’s Freshman Activities Fair are expected to attend an organizational meeting with Mr. Healy in H-201 on Tuesday at 3:00 pm. Prepare a table and reps and sign up your new membership.
SENIORS: A reminder to parents that Senior Parent Information Night will be held on Tuesday night at 7:30 pm in the church.
ALL: Anyone who signed up to attend the Ignatian family Teach-In must come to M-307 at 3:00 pm today for final details of the trip.
