ANNOUNCEMENTS –TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2008 – “B” DAY

Sophomores: Small groups from last year’s group guidance will begin to meet today in Fr. Azzarto’s office. Bring lunch.  List is posted outside room.

Freshmen: Those interested in starting a BASEBALL club will meet on Wednesday in b-220 at 3:00 p.m.

DRIVER EDUCATION:  We are out of the Driver Ed cards.  An announcement will be made when they arrive.

Ice Hockey:  Please see Coach Maione this Wednesday between 2:15-3:00 pm to submit the kickboxing fee and the required forms. The fee is $80 (cash only) and the Parent Permission Form, Parent Transportation Release Form, NJSIAA Testing Policy Form and the Club KO Kickboxing waiver will be collected. 

PETROC:  Meeting for October paper in E-204.  All Writers and those who want to write please attend.

CELTIC CLUB:  A meeting for all old members and those who want to join in E-204 at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1.

OUTREACH:  The first meeting of the year will be on Thursday, October 2 at 3:00 pm in M-312.  All are welcome.

MODEL UN MEETING:  We will meet today at 3:00 pm in B-216.

ROSTERS AND SCHEDULES:  Rosters and schedules are posted outside of B-317; first games are today at 3:00 pm in the courtyard.

ENVIRONMNETAL CLUB:  There will be a meeting on Wednesday in M-312 at 3:00 pm.

Guitar and Brass Students:  Remember lessons today with Mr. Kapsalis and Mr. Ferrone.

Band Students:  After school rehearsal today is cancelled this week.

STUDENT COUNCIL:  There is a regular Student Council meeting every Tuesday morning at 7:45 am in H-201, Mr. Keating’s room.

FORENSICS TEAM:  Meeting today at 3:00 pm in M-207.  Come with an idea about where you would like to compete.

GERMAN CLUB:  Meeting on Thursday at 3:00 pm in M-207 to set calendar.  Bring your Krug.

PREP UNPLUGGED:  On Wednesday at 3:00 pm there will be an audition opportunity for students interested in playing the remaining time slots for Friday’s Prep Unplugged music nite from 6:30 – 9:30 pm.

DRAMATICS:  Auditions for Prep’s winter play, the 20^th Century comedy, Heaven Can Wait, will be held on Thursday, Friday and Monday in E-305.

Juniors and Seniors:  Reminder tonight is College Rep Night. Remind your parents and please try to attend!!

Seniors:  Fordham University will be here on Monday, October 6 for interviews. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Martineau ASAP to sign-up!!

ANDROBALL:  Rosters and schedules are posted outside of Mr. Lyons’ room, B-317, first games are today at 3:00 pm in the courtyard.

Ski Club: There will be a meeting this Friday in B-317 at 3:00 pm.  Please bring all ideas on fundraising.  See Mr. Healy if you have any questions."

MLB PLAYOFFS BRACKET CHALLENGE:  Sign up is $2 and must be completed with Mr. Evans in e-202 or with seniors Swetal Patel or Alex Yu by 12:15 pm on Wednesday.  Prize money will be given to the winner’s homerooms Mission Drive efforts.  Brackets are available on Mr. Evans’ door and must be returned by Wednesday no later than 12:15 pm.

Freshman Ambassadors:  Freshman ambassadors are reminded to check the list regularly to see if you are scheduled.  Several ambassadors have missed their visitors and have been removed from the rotation.

MS. BLEASDALE’S 5^th Period Christian Ethics:  Please work in the Library.  Sign in at the desk and pick up your assignment.  Mrs. Supple will pick up the sign-in sheet and enter the attendance, so if you fail to show up the usual consequences apply!

FRESHMAN STUDY HALLS:  Freshman Study Halls are posted in the Mulry Lobby.  Second period meets in E-305 – 5^th period in H-201 and 6^th period in the Library (check in with Mr. Nunez).
