LOST:  If anyone has found a red Swiss army book bag containing French, geometry and Latin 1 textbooks, please return to Mr. Morris.  Thank you.

 

Forensics:  Meeting for all those competing in the November Tournament in Montville will take place today in M-207 at 3:00 pm.  Competitors must see Mr. G or their coaches if they cannot make the meeting.  Preparations for the meet should continue as usual.

Stock Market Club for Seniors and Juniors:  We will meet today at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab.

 

Stock Market Club for Sophomores and Freshman:  We will meet on Wednesday, November 5, at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab.

 

COMPUTER CLUB:  The Computer Club will meet on Tuesday, November 11, at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab.  All are welcome.

 

SAINT PETER’S MOCK ELECTION RESULTS:  For President:  Obama at 52%, McCain 39%, other 9%.  For Senator:  Lautenberg 52%, Zimmer 38%, Other 10%.  Thanks to all members of the History Club for county the ballots.

Emmaus 241 Juniors: There will be a meeting Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the Chapel for all those attending Emmaus 241.  Meeting is brief, but important!  See Mr. Sekel with questions.

 

SOPHOMORES: Don’t forget – Sophomore Night is on Thursday.  You may come into school in dress down on Thursday.  The activities start at 3:00 pm in the church and end at 8:00 pm.  Attendance is required.  See Mr. Sekel with any questions.

 

ALL: Students interested in participating in Queen of Peace High School’s Volleython this Saturday at 10:00 am should see Mr. Sekel in M-307 at 2:40 pm today.

 

CAMPUS MINISTERS:  Meeting on Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the chapel to discuss Sophomore Night.

 

STAR WARS CLUB:  The Star Wars Club will have a meeting on Wednesday in B-214 at 3:00 pm.

 

SOPHOMORES & FRESHMEN:  Information about the Annual Christmas Semi-Formal for sophomores and freshmen has been placed in homeroom folders.  Ask your homeroom teacher for a copy.

 

JUNIORS:  If you are interested in being a part of a dynamic study group for the SATs, come join the SAT Prep Club.  First meeting of the year will be on Monday, November 10 in H-205.  See Senior, Anand Brahmbhatt with any questions.

 

ALL:  Varsity football game vs. Hoboken is Friday, November 7 at 1:30 pm.  Frosh play on Thursday night at 6:00 pm.  All games at Caven Point.

 

Freshmen:  Baseball gathering. Because the football game has been moved to Friday the trip to Yogi Berra Stadium has been postponed.  Meeting next week.

 

All:  Duplicate pictures from Halloween and walk-a-thon are on the table in front of the attendance office. You are welcome to take your own.

 

All:  Next WEDNESDAY at 6:00 pm in the Cafeteria, Marco Ambrosio and Billy Bludgus will give a talk and have discussion on Marco’s work with AIDS and his visit to six countries. Billy is a graduate also and spent two plus years as a Jesuit Volunteer in Tanzania.  All are welcome.

 

FIRST PREP DANCE:  Mark your calendar:  Friday, November 14 from 7:00-10:00 pm with an $8 admission with school ID.  Prep boys only; girls from all schools invited.

 

ALL BAND MEMBERS:  Remember full required rehearsal after school today.

 

GUITAR and BRASS STUDENTS:  Remember lessons today with Mr. Kapsalis and Mr. Ferrone.

 

PERCUSSION STUDENTS:  Lessons with Mr. Gleich will be held on Thursday this week.

 

Mrs. Panzera's Chemistry classes:  You need to bring your text to class for today's activities.

 

Academic Bowl:  Today's practice is cancelled. Practice resumes on Thursday.

 

MS. PANZERA’S 4TH PER CHEM:  Will not meet.  You are responsible for assignment posted in Mulry Lobby.  All other sections will meet as usual.

 

BASEBALL:  All of last year’s JV and Frosh baseball players are asked to meet with Coach Urbanovich on Wednesday at 3:00 pm B-218.
