ANNOUNCEMENTS – FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2009 – “D” DAY
OPEN HOUSE VOLUNTEERS: Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 on Sunday for those helping with the Open House.
ALL STUDENTS: All students volunteering at Sunday’s Open House must be here by 1:00 and must be in WINTER DRESS CODE. Please meet in the cafeteria at 1:00.
Hockey: The hockey meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, October 6. Any student interested in playing hockey this year should meet at 3:00 pm in the gym. Important information will be distributed regarding the upcoming season. All players are expected to be there.
Freshmen: If you (or your parents) ordered portrait pictures from Davis Studio, please pick them up in Mr. Healy’s office in E304 during 9th period.
Juniors: Those who received slip from Fr. Azzarto will meet today in his office during lunch period. Bring lunch.
Anime Club: The Anime Club will meet today at 3:00 pm in B-215. New members are welcome!
MODEL UN: Three (3) spots unclaimed for this Saturday’s Model UN at Horace Mann. First come, first serve. See Mr. Cunneen in B-216 ASAP. (Hey Jon Fernandez you missed the meeting!)
ALL STUDENTS: Can you sing? Don’t be shy. Join the Prep Chorus. Rehearsals are held every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 pm.
CAMPUS SHOP: Dona Perfecta (Spanish Translation) must be returned to the campus shop by today. If it is not returned, you will have to pay for the English translation when they come in. We are selling To Kill A Mockingbird in the Campus Shop – the cost is $7.50.
MARAUDER NATION: The bus leaves for the Bayonne varsity football game at 6:00 pm from Prep on Saturday. Sign up in the office. The tailgate starts at 4:00 pm in the courtyard.
German Club: Next meeting will be Tuesday, October 6th in E303. Wear Lederhosen.
COMPUTER CLUB: The Computer Club will meet on Tuesday 10/6 in the Link Lab (H 305) at 3:00 PM. Officers will be elected. All are welcome.
WALKATHON: The Walkathon envelopes in HR folders. Go get them. The first HR of each year to hit 100% wins pizza.
ALL STUDENTS: If you are a fan of The Office then come to the debut of The Office Club on Tuesday at 3:00 pm in e-304.
MICHIGAN SERVICE TRIP 2009: We will have pizza in the Shalloe Parlor during lunch. Bring drinks for yourself. See you there.
Italian Club: A reminder to all members that permission slips to the Met Opera's The Barber of Seville are due!
MR. VERDI’S CONTEMPORARY ISSUES: Class will not meet. Continue working on assignment as modified by Mr. Dandorph. It will be collected in class on Monday.
MR. LAGERSTROM’S CLASSES: Will not meet today. Continue with current assignments.
