ANNOUNCEMENTS – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2009 – “B” DAY

PERCUSSION STUDENTS:  Remember lessons today with Mr. Gleich during lunch.

JAZZ BAND MEMBERS:  Because time is needed to return instruments and equipment from the freshmen activities fair, rehearsal will begin today at 3:15 in the band room.

Sophomores: Counselees of Fr. Azzarto:  Notice is in the HR folder for group meeting to begin on October 15. If you have any questions, please see him.

WALKATHON:   Walk this Way!  Students may begin returning Walkathon envelopes as soon as they reach their goal!  Please advise your homeroom teacher as you are returning the envelope so they can help encourage your class!  Remember: the first homeroom in each class year to reach 100% of men at $100 will get Pizza from the Lisbon!  The top homeroom overall will win the Kavanagh Cup, a prize, and bragging rights for the year!  Good Luck!  And don’t forget: WALK THIS WAY!

ANIME CLUB:  The Anime Club will not meet today.  The next meeting will be on Friday, 10/16 at 3:00 pm in B-215.

ALL STUDENTS:  The following classes will not meet today.  Please pay attention to any instructions regarding assignments for which you are responsible.  Unless specifically mentioned below, all other sections of these teachers’ classes will meet as usual.

MR. SANTOS AP BIOLOGY:   Complete the assignment that Mr. Santos posted online for you.

MR. SCANNAPIECO GREEK DRAMA AND SOCIETY:  Continue with assignment previously given.

MS. TURSI ADV. PHYSICS:  Continue with assignment which is due on Tuesday.  Extra copies are available in the Main Office.   (This class was originally scheduled to meet.)

MS. MCGOWAN’S 8^TH PERIOD LATIN I:  Meet in E-205 today with Mr. Burokas.

SOPHOMORES:  Take home today a copy of the PSAT practice test and information sheet.
