ANNOUNCEMENTS – THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2009 – “C” DAY

 

ALL: Emmaus 247 departs on Saturday.  Materials are being collected at the Reception Desk in the Mulry Lobby until Friday afternoon.  Please get everything in!

 

ALL: CLC groups will start meeting next week.  Check flyers in homeroom folder for details.

 

All Students: Anyone interested in seeing the one-act tragic opera Elektra at the MET on December 18 at 8:00 pm? Agamemnon's soul is calling you! See Mr. Grusenski in E-303 anytime after school to pick up a permission slip.  Please do so before this weekend so tickets ($24.00/ea.) may be purchased.

 

Sophomore and Junior Transfers:   Meeting today at 12:15 pm in the front parlor.  Lunch provided so just bring your self.  All must come to meet with Mr. Irvine and Fr. Azzarto.

 

ANIME CLUB:  The Anime Club will meet today at 3:00 PM in B-214.

 

German Club:  Permission slips for the Opera in December and for today's after school meal are due today. We will meet at 3:45pm today, bring your appetite.

Forensics Team:
  Permission slips due today to Mr. Kilroy or Mr. Grusenski!  All speech competitors hoping to compete this weekend must come to practice today at 3:00 pm. 

All Students and Faculty:  You are welcome to come and observe an open Speech and Debate Team practice today at 3pm in E-303.  The team will compete in its first tournament this weekend at Union Catholic.  We could use the practice in front of an audience.

Sophomores:  Counselees of Fr. Azzarto:  Meetings on Monday and Tuesday of next week. 

 

BREAKING BARRIERS:  Allies welcome today at 3:00 pm in B-215.

 

ALL:  On Tuesday, 10/27, there will be a meeting for the Petroc in E-204 at 3:00 pm.  Anyone interested is encouraged to join the newspaper’s staff.  Articles will be discussed and assigned for the November issue.

 

PERCUSSION STUDENTS: Remember drums lessons are being held today during lunch with Mr. Gleich.

 

JAZZ BAND MEMBERS: Full rehearsal is today after school at 3pm.

 

MS. MCNALLY’S CLASSES:  Will not meet today.  Continue with current assignments.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Mr. Smith lost his phone yesterday. It contains a lot of important time sensitive information as well as photographs he needs for his portfolio. If found or have information regarding its whereabouts, please feel free to contact him or the main office. Thanks.

 

Engineering Club: If you are planning to go to the Liberty Science Center on Friday.  Permission slip can be picked up from Ms Tursi in M306 or Ms Stark in B214.
