ANNOUNCEMENTS – THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2009 – “F” DAY

 

ALL STUDENTS:  The lounge will be closed all week while the Campus Ministry staff is away on Kairos.  See you next week!

 

JUNIORS:  Measurements for the Prep school ring will be today at lunch in the cafeteria.  Rings will be presented at the Junior Mass.  It does not cost anything to be measured this Thursday, so it would be advantageous to be measured whether or not you have decided to buy a ring or not.  See Mr. Hollywood with any questions.

 

DR. HARTLING’S SENIOR RELIGION CLASSES:  We will meet in the classroom, E-404, NOT the chapel as previously announced.  You will be taking a review test.

 

Seniors:  The Fairfield interviews are on Thursday, Nov. 12th.  You can see Mrs. Martineau for an appt. until Tuesday morning.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Calling all Men for Others, Breaking barriers needs you.  We will meet today in B215 at 3:00 pm with Mr. Roldan.

 

MARAUDER NATION:  Tailgate starts at 3:00 pm in the courtyard.  Sign up for bus to the game in the main office.  The bus leaves between 4:30-5:00 with game time at 7:00 pm. Shirts for sale in the café today for $5.  Wear white to the game.

 

CONCERT BAND MEMBERS: Remember woodwind sectionals during lunch today.

 

JAZZ BAND MEMBERS: Rehearsal after school today will begin later than usual. Look for note on band room door.

 

CHRISTIAN SERVICE:  Classes will not meet this week

 

AP VERGIL:  Will not meet, continue with current assignment.

 

SPANISH MEDICAL/BUSINESS:  Class does not meet today -- continue research in the Library.

 

AP SPANISH LITERATURE:  Class will not meet today.  Continue with research project.

 

MR. HEALY’S PRECALCULUS HONORS:  Class will not meet.  You must turn in the take-home test to Mrs. Supple in the Main Office by 11:30 AM (the end of fourth period) – NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

MS. BERMAN’S GUIDANCE CLASSES:  Will not meet today.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Tonight, at 6:00 pm, is the First Prep Unplugged Show.  Come out, listen to some music, and support your friends.  Admission is $2.
