ANNOUNCEMENTS – WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2009 – “B” DAY – ASSEMBLY ORDER
ALL SOCCER PLAYERS: There will be a meeting in the cafeteria today at 3:00 pm. All must attend. Those still needing to return uniforms should do so at that time.
ALL: Tomorrow (Thursday) will be a Short Order Schedule due to Parent-Teacher conferences. Conferences will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm.
SOPHOMORE/FRESHMAN CHRISTMAS ’09 SEMI-FORMAL: This year’s semi-formal will take place on Saturday evening, December 19th from 8:00 – 11:30 pm in the Prep cafeteria. Reservations may be made with Mr. Dondero in M-212. The cost is $60 per couple. Space is limited so you need to get your deposit of $30 to Mr. Dondero ASAP. The price includes a hot buffet dinner, DJ, unlimited soda, and ice-cream bar.
Italian Club: Student passes are on sale for Italian Neorealism Film Day for Saturday, November 21. If you would like to attend the Walter Reade Theater, NYC, for a full afternoon of Neorealism films such as Fellini's I Vitelloni and DeSica's Umberto D and enjoy a taste of authentic Italian food, please see Ms. Romano in E-306 ASAP.
FENCING: Any student who wishes to be on the fencing team this year (including returning members) there will be a brief but mandatory organizational meeting in Coach Evans’s room (H-202) on Thursday, November 19th at 3:00 PM
Wrestling: There will be a mandatory meeting for all members of the wrestling team today at 2:45 in H203. All football players on the wrestling team must see Coach Verdi by 2:30 on Wednesday for important information.
ALL STUDENTS: Any student interested in joining the wrestling team, there will be a mandatory meeting today at 2:45 in H-203. If you have a conflict, you must see Coach Verdi before Wednesday.
SENIORS: Saint Peter’s College will be here on December 7 for interviews. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Martineau for an appointment.
LITERAMA: New and old members – there will be a meeting today at 3:05 pm in E-307. Please see Ms. Knittel or Ms. Groark if you are unable to attend.
History Club Cinema Presents: We Were Soldiers starring Mel Gibson, a Vietnam War movie, today from 3:00-5:00 pm in B-216.
ALL: Are you interested in becoming CPR and First Aid certified? Take a class through the American Red Cross here at Prep on Saturday December 12th. To sign up or for more information see Ms. Flores in H-302. Spaces are limited and deadline for sign-up is this Friday November 20th.
ANIME CLUB: The Anime Club will meet on Friday, November 20, at 3 PM in B215.
FOOTBALL PLAYERS: Any football player who wants to tryout for basketball must see Mr. Dan or Brian Healy this week.
A.S.A.P. (ASIAN SOCIETY A & P): We will meet today in H-303 at 300 pm.
ALL STUDENTS: Any students interested in competing in the NJ State Bar Foundation Mock Trial competition should come to H-201 at 3:00 pm today for a meeting with Mr. Keating.
