ALL: Second Marking Period Progress Reports will be available beginning today on PowerSchool beginning at 3:00 pm. Students, remember that your teachers are available in their classrooms or offices to work with you every day after school from 2:30 to 3:00.
ALL: The second marking period ends on January 15, 2010; first semester exams are scheduled for January 19 to 25. See the School Calendar for information dates at Prep.
ALL: Students who need to regain eligibility to participate in athletics and major activities for the rest of the second marking period must take their completed appeal forms to Ms. Durante before they can participate.
ALL: Today's Advent Prayer Service will be re-scheduled for Tuesday. Sorry for the postponement!
ALL: There will be a meeting for the Society of Comedic Appreciation on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the Campus Ministry Lounge.
ALL: Congratulations to the Swim Team on its 112-55 victory over Red Bank Catholic. The team improves to a 3-0 and swims again in a double-dual meet vs. Hudson and Marist on Friday at 4:00 pm at SPC.
ALL: Students interested in Support Groups “Dealing with Loss” and “Deal with Divorced/Separated Parents” will meet today during 5th period in Fr. Mullin’s office, S-101 (opposite the elevator) Bring lunch.
ALL: For the past 3 years Paul Lempa, class of 88 has worked as an official TOPPS sport artist. He has been commissioned to paint likenesses of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Eli Manning, etc. to appear on cards and posters. He will show how young men can make a living in the art field. His work is featured in Beckett Baseball Magazine. He Owns and operates his own creative design agency called REVEL STUDIOS… Come today at 4:00 pm in the library.

ALL STUDENTS: In homeroom today, all students will be asked to provide the name of their cell phone provider for their personal cell phones. The purpose of this is to enhance Prep's ability to communicate directly with you in the event of an emergency or to provide timely information. Today in homeroom, simply indicate your provider's name (Verizon, ATT, etc) in the appropriate column next to your name.
SENIORS: Diploma letters were sent home on December 4. The return date is Friday, December 11. If you have not returned your letter, please do so – only 50 seniors have returned their letter.
Juniors and Seniors: Looking for Christian Service opportunities? Talk to Ms. Toomb about regular tutoring with Team Walker, a group designed to create safe and healthy after school alternatives for Jersey City youth. Juniors, this is a great way to complete your 60 hours!
JUNIORS: Junior class ring deposits must be in this week for rings to be made for ring ceremony. See Mr. Hollywood.
MR. DWYER’S CLC PRAYER AND REFLECTION GROUP: We will meet in the Madonna Chapel today at 3:00 pm. All are welcome. Stop by E201 if you have any questions.

SKI AND SNOWBOARDING: The ski and snowboarding club will meet today to organize and plan this year’s trips. New members are most welcome.
CONGRATULATIONS: To the Swim Team on its 113-57 win over Bergen Catholic yesterday. The team is 2-0 this season and will swim again tomorrow at Red Bank Catholic.
LITERAMA: Literama will have a brief meeting after school today at
3:00 pm in M-309.
Science League: Biology will have a review session for the January exam today at 3:00 pm in room B 315.
STUDENT SURVIVOR: In Wednesday’s makeup match 3B was victorious. Today’s Match: Thurs. 12/10: 4B vs. 4G and 3D vs. 3J. Matches in the Arrupe Conf. Room (next to the Main office) at the start lunch period. Latecomers will forfeit!
MICHIGAN TRIP 2009: Please meet today, 12/10, during 5th period in B-317. Bring lunch too.

CPR CLASS: To all those signed up to take the CPR and First Aid class with the American Red Cross here at Prep this Saturday the Dec 12th, the class will begin at 9am and end at 3:30pm. The class will be in room B-214. See you there.
