all students:  Students are reminded to submit eligibility appeal papers to Ms. Durante for the rest of the second marking period.  They are due January 5.

 

All Students:  The Petrean will have a meeting this afternoon at 3:00 in the Library classroom for anyone interested in being a writer or photographer.  We are seeking articles and photographs about student activities and sports.  If you are active in any student activity and would like to provide materials for that activity's yearbook page, please come to today's informational meeting.  Please see Mr. Vaznelis if you can not attend.

All:  Baseball Club:  Meeting today at 3:00 pm in B-220.  Evaluate trades, games, refreshments.

 

ALL:  CONGRATULATIONS: To the Swim Team on its 137-31 victory over Ferris yesterday.  The Marauders will take on DON BOSCO today at 4:30 pm at Saint Peter's College.  Admission is free.  Come support the team!

 

Freshmen and Sophomores:  Pictures from the Christmas dance are posted.  Duplicates are in H.R. Folders.  Those posted will be available to you on Friday.

 

Sophomore AND JUNIOR:  Grief and loss group will meet with Fr. Azzarto on Thursday during 2nd lunch period.

 

JUNIORS & SENIORS:  Job Opportunity:  W.H. Reaves & Company, an investment management/brokerage firm needs a part-time employee to work at its office at 10 Exchange Place.  This would be a great opportunity for any upperclassman that is interested in the field of business.  Hours and salary will be discussed during the interview process, however hours generally range from late afternoon (3:00-3:30 pm to early evening 6:30 pm, every weekday).  Please contact David Pass at 201-793-2364 to arrange an interview.

 

JUNIORS:  If you would like to be on the Junior Prom Committee, please see Mrs. Martineau this week.  I need two from each homeroom.  Also, all juniors planning on attending the prom, your first payment of $75 is due on January 15th.   See Mrs. Martineau with any questions.

 

Hockey Teams:  JV. A and B   meet on Friday during lunch periods. Varsity members also welcome.  Bring lunch.drinks provided.

 

Dramatics:  Saint Peter’s Prep will present Who you Callin’ A Thespian, an original slapstick comedy written by seniors Benjamin Glassen and Matthew Mazzari, this weekend at the Roy Irving Theater at Saint Peter’s College.  The performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m.  The Sunday Matinee will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Ticket Cost: $8.00.  Come and laugh at the hilarity!

 

MOCK TRIAL:  All are required for meetings today and Thursday.  Please read entire packet and be ready to discuss.

 

PAXS CHRISTI:  Pax Christi will meet today at 3:00 pm in the Campus Ministry Lounge.

 

GOLF:  Meeting for all interested in trying out for the golf team on Thursday at 2:30 pm in H-203.

 

GUITAR STUDENTS:  We are planning to have a new teacher here to begin lessons this Thursday. See Mr. Caslowitz with any questions.

 

CONCERT BAND MEMBERS:  Rehearsal this week will be held after school today.

 

STUDENT SURVIVOR:  In Tuesday’s Match 3H was triumphant! Thursday, January 7 semifinals:  1B vs. 4A & 2B vs. 3H.  Finals on Monday, January 11 at 3:00 pm in B216, Mr. Cunneen’s room.

 

Medical Club: No meeting this week.

                                             

ASIAN SOCIETY AT PREP (ASAP):  We will meet today at 3:00 pm in H-303.

 

RETURNING RUGBY PLAYERS:  All returning rugby players must attend a meeting this Friday in M-311 at 3:00 pm.  If you cannot attend, see Mr. Fletcher prior to the meeting.

 

PETROC:  On Thursday there will be a Petroc meeting promptly at 3:00 pm in E-204.  Assignments for the January issue will be given.
