all students:  Students are reminded to submit eligibility appeal papers to Ms. Durante for the rest of the second marking period.  They were due January 5.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Auditions for males for the Holy Family Academy musical, Cinderella, will take place on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at HFA.  Everyone is encouraged to audition.  Singers and non-singers alike.  See Mr. Coe with questions.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Broadway tickets:  Some tickets remain for A View From the Bridge, starring Scarlett Johansson) on Thursday evening, January 28.  The cost is $56.  See or email Dr. Kennedy ASAP.  He is in M-311.

 

FRESHMEN: If you have not already signed up for or completed a two-week tutoring session for Christian Service, please do so. Christian Service is MANDATORY and spots are filling quickly!

 

Freshmen and Sophomores:  Pictures from the Christmas dance are posted.  Duplicates are in H.R. Folders.  Those posted will be available to you on Friday.

 

Sophomores and Juniors:  Friday lunchtime CLC group meets today in Fr. Mullin's Office.

 

JUNIORS & SENIORS:  Job Opportunity:  W.H. Reaves & Company, an investment management/brokerage firm needs a part-time employee to work at its office at 10 Exchange Place.  This would be a great opportunity for any upperclassman that is interested in the field of business.  Hours and salary will be discussed during the interview process, however hours generally range from late afternoon (3:00-3:30 pm to early evening 6:30 pm, every weekday).  Please contact David Pass at 201-793-2364 to arrange an interview.

 

JUNIORS:  If you would like to be on the Junior Prom Committee, please see Mrs. Martineau this week.  I need two from each homeroom.  Also, all juniors planning on attending the prom, your first payment of $75 is due on January 15th.   See Mrs. Martineau with any questions.

 

SENIORS:  I have a printout of procedures for having mid-year grades sent. It is in my office. Please stop by and get one so you are aware of what to do.

 

ADVANCED PHYSICS:  Bring your textbooks to class today.

 

MR. LOCRICCHIO’S HEALTH CLASS:  Will not meet today.  Assignment:  Continue working on your semester research paper.

 

CAMPUS MINISTRY TEAM:  Our meeting is rescheduled for Tuesday during 5th period.  

 

Science League: The first science league exam is Thursday, January 14. There will be a biology review session on Monday and Tuesday in room B-315 starting at 3:00 pm.   

 

Dramatics:  Saint Peter’s Prep will present Who you Callin’ A Thespian, an original slapstick comedy written by seniors Benjamin Glassen and Matthew Mazzari, this weekend at the Roy Irving Theater at Saint Peter’s College.  The performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m.  The Sunday Matinee will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Ticket Cost: $8.00.  Come and laugh at the hilarity!  Tickets are also available at the door.

 

Student Survivor:  Semifinal results: 4A beat 1B for the Period 5 championship while 3H defeated 2B to become Period 6 Champion.  The Finals will be held on Monday at 3:00 pm in B216, Mr. Cunneen’s room.

 

RETURNING RUGBY PLAYERS:  All returning rugby players must attend a meeting this Friday in M-311 at 3:00 pm.  If you cannot attend, see Mr. Fletcher prior to the meeting.

 

Hockey Teams:  JV. A and B   meet on Friday during lunch periods – 11:30 and 12:15. Varsity members also welcome.  Bring lunch – drinks will be provided.

 

CELTIC CLUB:  There will be a meeting in E-204 on Tuesday, January 12, at 3:00 pm.  Ask Mrs. McElroy or senior, Kenan Moriarty with any questions.

 

Computer Club:  The Computer Club will meet Tuesday, 1/12, at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab (H305).  A short video will be shown.  All are welcome.

 

Stock Market Club:  The Stock Market Club will meet on Thursday, 1/14, at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab (H305).
