ALL STUDENTS:  The midterm exam schedule has been placed in your homeroom folder and should be posted on the wall.  Copies also appear on the Mulry Lobby bulletin board.  Please see Ms. Durante as soon as possible if you have any conflicts (two exams scheduled in the same period, etc.).

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Auditions for males for the Holy Family Academy musical, Cinderella, will take place on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at HFA.  Everyone is encouraged to audition.  Singers and non-singers alike.  See Mr. Coe with questions.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Broadway tickets:  Some tickets remain for A View From the Bridge, starring Scarlett Johansson) on Thursday evening, January 28.  The cost is $56.  See or email Dr. Kennedy ASAP.  He is in M-311.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  The library will close at 12:45 pm today to hold a teachers’ conference.

 

ALL:  First Prep dance on Friday, January 29, 7:00-10:00 pm, $8 and ID admission.  Only for Prep men, all girls admitted with $8 and ID.

 

ALL: Prep Basketball takes on St. Anthony at the Dan Finn Classic on Saturday at 8:00 pm at the JC Armory.   Student tickets are $4 ($10 for at the door).  See marauder Mike Wright ’10.  Tickets are available until Thursday afternoon.

 

All:  On Thursday the basketball teams host Ferris at 4:00, 5:30 and 7:00 pm.  All are invited after the varsity and join alumni for hot chocolate, coffee in the Café.

 

All:  Parents of students are reminded of the Day of Retreat with alumni parents on Sunday.  Time is at 9:00 am in the chapel.  Contact Fr. Azzarto.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  All who are interested in attending the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. should see Mr. McCarthy in M-207 today.

 

FRESHMEN: If you have not already signed up for or completed a two-week tutoring session for Christian Service, please do so. Christian Service is MANDATORY and spots are filling quickly!

 

Freshmen and Sophomores:    Pictures from the dance in December are on the table in the café. Please take your own. There are 2 separate boxes.

 

Sophomores:  Counselees of Fr. Azzarto and Sophomore Transfer students:  Meeting on Wednesday at 12:15 in the church. Bring lunch…Drinks and snacks provided.

 

JUNIORS:  First prom payment of $75 is due this Friday.  If you are in homerooms, 3B, 3C, 3G, 3I, 3J or Band you have no rep so you must see me to make your payment.

 

MARAUDER NATION: Meeting today in H201 at 3:00 pm.

BRASS STUDENTS - Remember lessons today with Mr. Ferrone during lunch.

 

CONCERT BAND STUDENTS - there is a brief but required rehearsal after school today.

 

MUSIC SYNTHESIS CLASS - So that you will have time to complete projects, the Mulry Computer Lab will be open after school everyday this week.

 

STUDENT SURVIVOR: Congratulations Campion’s Champions as Homeroom 4A defeated Ms. Romano’s Homeroom 3H in a come-from-behind 6-5 victory in the Student Survivor finals on Monday afternoon. The $85 raised in the Tournament should be credited to Homeroom 4A’s total in the Mission Drive competition.

 

CAMPUS MINISTRY TEAM:  Our meeting is rescheduled for today during 5th period. 

 

PAX CHRISTI: We will meet after school on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the Campus Ministry Lounge.

 

Science League: The first test is Thursday Jan 14th those who are taking the chemistry test please meet with Mr. Canale in B313 before 3 O'clock today for permission slips and to go over final details for the test.

 

CELTIC CLUB:  There will be a meeting in E-204 today at 3:00 pm.  Ask Mrs. McElroy or senior, Kenan Moriarty with any questions.

 

Computer Club:  The Computer Club will meet today at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab (H305).  A short video will be shown.  All are welcome.

 

Stock Market Club:  The Stock Market Club will meet on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the Link Lab (H305).

 

LITERAMA:  Literama, Prep’s literary magazine, is sponsoring a haiku contest.  Submit your original haiku to Ms. Knittel or Ms. Groark or email literama1@gmail.com.  Winner will receive a prize.

 

LITERAMA:  Meeting today at 3:00 pm in M-309 to discuss winter issue and Haiku Contest.

 

MOCK TRIAL:  There will be a mock trial meeting on Wednesday and Thursday at 3:00 pm in H-201.  Bring a copy of case and your notes.

 

FORENSICS:  Those competing in this weekend’s tournament must pick up a permission slip from Mr. Kilroy or Mr. Grusenski.

 

Fencing: Congratulations to the foil team of freshman David Kong, senior Ted Weinberg, and junior Dominick Rotondo who had a very strong showing this weekend at the Cetrulo Boys Relay Championship which took place at Morris Knolls High School. The team finished 9th out of the 45 schools that competed.

 

VIDEOGAME CLUB:  There will be a meeting of the Videogame Club at 3:00 in H105 on Wednesday, January 13th. All are welcome.

 

DANCE COMMITTEE:  Meeting at 3:00 pm today in M-311.  New members are welcome.

 

MR. KILROY’S CLC GROUP:  Mr. Kilroy's CLC group will meet today at 5th period in M-312.
