ALL STUDENTS: Nominations for the next group of Spirit Awards are now open. Please submit nominations of fellow students by recess on this Friday, January 29. We will present the awards at the Honors Assembly on Wednesday, February 3. Nominations should be submitted online at www.spprep.org/spirit. You must sign in using your Prep network ID and password; be sure to precede your username with “prep\” in order to gain access to the nomination form.
All: Thanks for the great cooperation with the administration of semester exams last week. Today begins the second semester. Teachers will review exams with students at some point this week. Please remind your parents of parent-teacher conferences next Thursday, February 4. Information will be emailed to them with instructions about scheduling conferences.
ALL STUDENTS: Auditions for any student who wants to be a part of
Prep’s Spring Musical, Pippin, should attend a meeting today or
Wednesday at 3:15 PM in H-201.
ALL STUDENTS: Student volunteers are needed for the Accepted Students’ Reception on Sunday, January 31. Please sign up in the principal’s office if you can help us.
ALL STUDENTS: Prep’s first dance will be Friday from 7-10 PM. Your Prep ID and $8 is required for admission. This dance is only for Prep men. All girls will be admitted with $8 and their school ID.
All: Baseball and Game club will meet on WEDNESDAY at 3:00 PM in B-220. Hot Dogs, snacks provided.

Sophomores: Counselees of Fr. Azzarto: we will begin to meet in groups of 6 or 7 in the near future.
Sophs and Juniors: Loss/grief group of Fr. Azzarto will meet at 12:15 in his office. Bring lunch, snacks provided.
JUNIORS: "Junior Rings - Chike Gomez and Calvin Alston must come to the Campus Shop this morning for missing information. See Mr. Hollywood or Mrs. Ryan."
Juniors: Regular Group from last year’s guidance of Fr. Azzarto and others will meet on Thursday at 12:15 in his office – please bring your lunch, snacks will be provided.
UNDERCLASSMEN: You are desperately needed on the Dance Committee. Think about it. See Ms. Rowan in M-310 with questions.
Mr. Roldan’s Group Guidance: Classes will not meet today or tomorrow, Wednesday.

CONCERT BAND: Full rehearsals begin again today after school.
EBONY CLUB: We will meet in H-205 at 3:00 PM today. We will be planning for Black History Month. All members must be present.
Hockey Teams: JV A and B and freshmen will meet on Friday at 11:30 and 12:15…both lunch periods in Fr. Azzarto’s office – bring lunch, snacks will be provided.
Mock Trial: Mandatory Practice Tuesday and Wednesday in H201 at 3:00 PM. All members must attend and sign Code of Conduct worksheet before this Thursday's competition at the Superior Court Building in Jersey City. Prep needs to bring six jury members in order to compete, and the dates are Jan 28, Feb 1st and 2nd, 4-9 PM. All members must be in jacket and tie for Thursday's competition; students with questions should see seniors Adam Governale, Matt Mazzari, Dave Park, or Ben Glassen.
RETURNING JV AND VARSITY VOLLEYBALL: There will be a conditioning workout with Coach Que on Tuesday and Thursday at 3:05 PM. Meet in the weight room. See Coach Que for questions/concerns.
