Thursday, February 4, 2010 – “B” Day – Short Order Schedule – Dismissal at 1:10 PM – Parent-Teacher Conferences – 2:00-4:00 PM & 5:00-7:00 PM.

 

Friday, February 5, 2010 – Professional Day – No Classes

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Please note a change in the calendar this week – today is a Short Order schedule due to Parent-Teacher Conferences.  Conferences are being held from 2:00-4:00 & 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday.   Friday, February 5 is a professional day for faculty with no classes for students. 

 

All Students:  The Petrean needs your student activity photos.  Please email any photos of clubs, sports, or general student life to petrean2010@gmail.com.  With your message, include a brief description of the photo(s), and the names of any people in the photo.  Pictures from iPhones are acceptable.

 

FRESHMEN:  The freshman class is required to attend the Modern Languages Presentation for next year’s course selections.  The presentation will take place in the Church today at 1:15 p.m. (immediately after 8th period).  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Romano in E-306.

 

FRESHMEN:  Those who have an info session for next week’s Christian Service during 5th period lunch – we will be in the Shalloe Parlor NOT the Chapel.  See you at 11:50 AM.

 

Sophomores:  Counselees of Fr. Azzarto.  Group meetings begin next Monday.  List has been placed in the folders.

 

JUNIORS:  This is your last chance to make your first prom payment.  See Mrs. Martineau as soon as possible if you are interested in attending.

 

MR. FLETCHER’S RELIGION 2 STUDENTS:  Bring textbooks and notebooks to class today.

 

MR. DWYER'S CLC prayer group will meet today (Thursday) at 3PM in the Madonna Chapel.  All are welcome.

 

INTRAMURALS:  All those interested in playing flag football should sign up in Mr. Lyons’ room, B-317.  There will be a meeting today after school (1:30 PM).

 

IGNATIAN TEACH IN AT WHEELING JESUIT UNIVERSITY:  Those who are interested in attending March 5 - 7 please see Mr. Lyons in B-317 for more information.

 

Computer Club:  Will meet Tuesday, February 9, at 3:00 in the Link Lab (H 305) all are welcome.  What’s your favorite UTUBE video?

 

THE SOCIETY OF COMEDIC APPRECIATION:  There will be a SCA meeting today at 1:30 PM in the Campus Ministry Lounge.  All are welcome.

 

Science League:  The February exam will be helping next Thursday, Feb 11th at Union City High school. Please see Ms. Tursi, Mr. Canale, or Ms. Annetta for more information!

 

CHESS TEAM:  Chess team will meet Tuesday Feb. 9th and Wednesday Feb 10th after school in room M 207.  You must attend if your are interested in competing against Dickenson.

 

ASIAN SOCIETY:  There will be a meeting on Monday at 3:05 PM in Mr. Nunez’s room.

 

BASEBALL:  There will be no conditioning this weekend.
