Wednesday, February 10, 2010 – “E” Day – Assembly Order – Honors Assembly for Semester 1

Thursday, February 11, 2010 – “F” Day – Regular Order

Friday, February 12, 2010 – “A” Day – Regular Order

 

ALL:   In the event of no classes due to inclement weather, we will hold the Honors Assembly the next day, Thursday, February 11.  Please be prepared to plan accordingly.  Snow closing information is posted on the screen in the Mulry Lobby.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  W.H. Reaves & Company, an investment management/brokerage firm needs a part-time employee to work at its office at 10 Exchange Place.  This would be a great opportunity for any upperclassman that is interested in the field of business.  Hours and salary will be discussed during the interview process, however hours generally range from late afternoon (3:30-3:30 pm) to early evening (6:30 PM) EVERY weekday.  Please contact David Pass at 201-793-2364 to arrange an interview.

 

All STUDENTS:  The Baseball club will meet this Wednesday at 3:00 PM in B-220.

 

All Students:  In E303 on Tuesday the club will be showing the first major German sound film, "Der blaue Engel" (the Blue Angel), starring the famous Marlene Dietrich.  It will run until 4:45pm.  Popcorn only $1.

 

Sophomores:  Counselees of Fr. Azzarto:  Groups will begin to meet during lunch. Times have been given. List is posted outside office.  Bring lunch, snacks provided.

 

SOPHOMORES:  If you are interested in an individual Immersion Trip this summer, please talk to Ms. Toomb by the end of the week.

 

PAX CHRISTI:  We will meet today.  All members must be in attendance.

 

BRASS STUDENTS:  Remember lessons will be held today during lunch with Mr. Ferrone.

 

CONCERT BAND MEMBERS:  Remember to be on time for our full, required regularly scheduled rehearsal after school today.

 

PERCUSSION STUDENTS:  Because of the assembly day schedule tomorrow, lessons with Mr. Gleich have been rescheduled for this Friday during lunch.

 

German Club: On Tuesday we will be showing the film, "Der blaue Engel" (the Blue Angel).  It will run until 4:45pm with popcorn at only $1. Wednesday will be the semester organizational meeting. Both events will begin at 3:05.   

 

SWIM TEAM:  Brief, but important, meeting TODAY at 3 p.m. in the Lounge.  All must attend.

 

Computer Club:  The computer club will meet today at 3:00 in the Link Lab (H 305) all are welcome.  What’s your favorite UTUBE video?

 

Science League:  The February exam will be helping on Thursday at Union City High school. Please see Ms. Tursi, Mr. Canale, or Ms. Annetta for more information!

 

CHESS TEAM:  Chess team will meet today and Wednesday at 3:00 PM in room M 207.  You must attend if your are interested in competing against Dickenson.

 

ALL PREP SOCCER PLAYERS:  Please let Mr. Caulfield or Mr. Oryshkevych know who is attending the soccer dinner on February 21 ASAP.

 

ALL SOCCER PLAYERS NOT INVOLVED IN A SPORT OR ACTIVITY:  Should make an effort to be in the weight room on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

 

BASEBALL:  Sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in trying out, there will be a brief meeting on Wednesday at 3:30 PM in the Cafeteria.  If you cannot make it, please see Coach Lyons in B-317.
