ALL:  Due to the expected worsening of the winter storm this afternoon, today we will follow a short-order schedule.

 

ALL:  With a possible winter storm predicted, please remember that announcements about Prep opening late or cancelling classes will be available on the Prep website or through a recorded message on the school status phone line 201-547-2361 between 5:00 and 6:00am.  The only media outlets Prep uses for school such announcements are News12 New Jersey (cable television station) and WCBS Newsradio 880AM (broadcast station and website). 

 

ALL:  Congratulations, Sophomore Najee Glass has broken his own New Jersey State sophomore record and the all-time Hudson County record in the 400 meters. Last night in New York City Najee ran the fastest time overall on a 200 meter track in the United States this year. This helped him to win the Eastern States Championships.  

 

Juniors:  If your final prom payment is not made by Tuesday, Mar. 2 your name will be removed from the prom guest list.

 

SophOMORES/Juniors:  Grief/loss group will meet with Fr. Azzarto next week.

 

Sophomores: Mr. Peters’ Period 3 class will not meet.  Assignment (to be done in notebooks): Read The Catcher in the Rye Chapters 3 and 4.  Create a comparative list for Ackley and Stradlater.  The list should have at least ten items on it for each character.

 

Freshmen:  Mission Drive:  Will there be a faculty vs. freshman basketball game?  Stay tuned. 

 

MR. DWYER’S CLC: Prayer group will meet today (Thursday) at 3:00 PM in the Madonna Chapel.  All are welcome.

 

MR. FURLONG’S ENGLISH 4:  Will not meet, assignments are in the office.  Sign in and pick them up if you haven’t already done so.

 

MR. M. LYONS CLASSES:  Will not meet.  Sign in to pick up assignments in the office if you haven’t already done so.

 

MR. ORYSHKEVYCH’S CLASSES:  Will not meet, continue with current assignments  US History 1 -- remember test tomorrow.

 

MR. KILROY’S SEMINAR IN RELIGION:  Class will not meet; assignment is posted in Mulry Lobby.

 

GREEK DRAMA: Class will not meet, assignment posted in Mulry.

 

MR. SCANNAPIECO’S LATIN 2:  Classes will not meet.  Sign in and pick up assignments in Main Office.

MS. TORRES’ CLASSES:  Will not meet, no assignments.

JAZZ BAND MEMBERS:  Remember full rehearsal after school today at 3:05.

 

PERCUSSION STUDENTS:  Mr. Gleich is here for lessons today during lunch.

 

Outdoor Track: Meeting for those interested will be on Tuesday March 2nd at 3p.m. in the cafeteria. Also any track runners with uniforms must return them to coach Caulfield before March 2nd. 

 

LITERAMA:  There will be a Literama meeting today at 3:05 PM.

 

TRIP TO SPAIN:  The twenty-five students who have the information to travel from June 21 – July 5 must come to E-401 to fill out the application for the $95 deposit ASAP.  Thank you.

 

JV Hockey:  Meeting on Friday for freshmen, sophomores and juniors and frosh on varsity.  Both lunch periods Friday.

 

Culinary Club:   There will be a meeting today at 3:00 PM in B-315.  We will be planning for the Multicultural dinner!!

 

Computer Club:  Will meet on Monday at 3:00 PM in the Link Lab (H 305).  Take a byte out of a chip (chocolate chip cookie)

 

Stock Market Club:  Will meet on Wednesday at 3:00 PM in the Link Lab (H305). 

 

LACROSSE PLAYERS:  Warm-up forms must be handed to captains by this afternoon.  The payment is for half of the total cost.

 

MODEL UN MEETING:  Mandatory meeting on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in B-216.  Get your committee assignments for Seton Hall conference.

 

SECRET AGENT CLUB:  More Bad Bond next Wednesday at 3:00 PM in B-216.

 

HISTORY CLUB MEETING:  We will meet on Monday at 3:00 PM in B-216.

 

Golf:  There will be a mandatory meeting for Any student that wants to tryout for the golf team on Tuesday 5/2 at 3:00 in H203.

 

ANIME CLUB:  The Anime Club will meet on Friday in B 215.

 

Medical Club:  If interested in attending the surgery viewing you must turn in permission slips and $25 dollars in H-302 by tomorrow.  If writing a check please make it payable to "Liberty Science Center."

 

SEINFELD CLUB:  Meeting today at 3:00 PM in E-301.

 

Baseball: Mandatory meeting for sophomores, juniors, and seniors trying out this year will take place on Monday, 3:30 in M308 (Mr. Arteaga's room)
