Monday, March 8, 2010 – “D” Day – Regular Order

Tuesday, March 9, 2010 – “E” Day – Regular Order

Wednesday, March 10, 2010 – “F” Day – Assembly Order

Thursday, March 11, 2010 – “A” Day – Regular Order

Friday, March 12, 2010 – “B” Day – Regular Order

 

 

 

ALL:  After careful consideration of missed instructional time due to the three recent snow days, all students and faculty should make note of the following changes to our school calendar:  The short order day scheduled for Wednesday, March 17, is now a regular time order day with 40-minute periods; the department meetings will be re-scheduled.  The Professional Development Day for teachers scheduled for Friday, March 19, will be re-scheduled and will be now a regular-order class day.  Letter day to be assigned.  Monday, April 12, will remain a day with no classes for students.

Thank you for your patience and understanding with these changes. 

 

ALL:  Information and permission slips for the Prep Blood Drive on Thursday can be found on the Prep website, “Student Life”, “Blood Drive.”

 

ALL:  March is Women’s History Month, we invite you to find out more about Women’s history and join in this important celebration

 

All: The Football Dinner has been rescheduled from Thursday, March 11th to Tuesday, March 23rd. Ticket pricing and procedures will remain the same.

 

ALL STUDENTS:  Pictures taken with Prestige Portraits on the night of the mother-son dinner dance have been placed in HR folders this morning.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Gualario in the main office.  Thank you.

 

All Students:  Any student who failed two or more subjects at the end of Semester 1 is ineligible to participate in major co-curricular activities and or spring sports, unless he has obtained probationary eligibility for the remainder of the marking period.  Students who wish to secure probationary eligibility must see Ms. Durante for the necessary paperwork.

 

All:  Congratulations to the Academic Bowl who sent 2 teams to the Livingston Tournament this past weekend. They both performed well, qualifying for the consolation bracket. We're looking to take that momentum into our March 20th tournament in Bloomfield.

 

Juniors: ALL students who have Christian Service Class on “C” days (8th or 9th period) must meet Ms. Toomb in the Chapel at 12:45pm TODAY.

 

SOPHOMORES:  All sophomore students who have a free first period today must report to E-402, Mr. Furlong’s room, to take the National Latin Exam during that time.  Please be prompt.

 

SOPHOMORES:  All sophomores are reminded to meet in Fr. Mullins’ Office today and bring your lunch.  All are welcome.

 

BAND MEMBERS:  Remember full rehearsal after school.

 

BASEBALL:  Meet in Coach Arteaga’s room with your class level at the following times: Sophomores @ 3:05; juniors @ 3:15; seniors @ 3:25

 

HISTORY CLUB:  The History Club presents THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND starring Forrest Whitaker as Idi Amin on Thursday at 3:00 PM in B216.

 

JUNIOR RINGS:  Final payments now being accepted at the Campus Shop.

 

ANIME CLUB:  Anime Club will meet today in B215 at 3 PM.

 

Crew:  Meeting today in B313 @ 3:00pm applications will be distributed for the upcoming season

 

MODEL UN:  We will meet today in B-216.  There are only two weeks to conference.  Turn in your permission slips to Mr. Cunneen to get your SHUMUN Committee Background Guides.  Position Papers due by end of week!
